The 9467cc is just another Pro model, no specific advantages or cons. The model numbers only reflect the accessories/colors or the country of origin. But the shavers themselves are the same. It comes with the hard leather case and the cleaning station, so it has the most important ones. There’s also a new color option available with the Series 9 Pro that roughly translates from German to Precious Metal. Not sure if this is letter X or roman numeral for 10 – it looks more like Philips’ version of OneBlade. Same as per your review – it doesn’t look like Braun will be coming out with another Series shaver for at least another couple of years. Reply

UPDATE: Chris, one of our readers, pointed out in a comment that Braun outsourced the production of the original shaving heads for the Series 9 (90s, 90b) to a company that went out of business in the meantime. As a result, there was a long period of time when Braun couldn’t find a supplier for the production of the cassettes, hence the shortage. They eventually found a new manufacturer for the updated 92s/92b shaving heads used on the 92xx and 93xx models. There is also a model with ProCare head which is after shave head to ‘enhance’ moisturiser effectiveness. And considering that the 93xx shavers are now widely available and can cost even less than the 92xx, those are probably the ones to get. Well, it has 4 active shaving elements, so that’s just marketing fluff. The Panasonic Arc 5 for example truly has 5 blades. The Series 9, including the 2021 Pro, has 4.If you already have a 92xx or 93xx Series 9 that’s still in good shape, it doesn’t really make sense to upgrade to a Pro since the performance gains are minor overall. Im also wondering if holding a hot wet towel over my face pre shave , and using the wet shave option will improve my shave quality and or shave experience ? It really helps with manual blades (a hot shower while shaving also helps immensely with a manual blade , will it also help alot with this braun?) You can very well replace Series 9 PRO with Series 9 PRO+ in the comparison above as the latter shaves exactly the same. Why was the Series 9 updated (four times)? As a downside, when using the Series 9 Pro alongside a regular Series 9, the Pro seems to be grabbier and a bit harsher on the skin. Regarding which generation Series 9 should you buy, it’s really up to you and there’s no right or wrong approach to this.
