Overall I think this magazine has bitten off more than it can chew they have tried to go for 10-15 year olds but missed it.Years on and MIZZ is still going strong and packed full of great reads, gorgeous fashion, beauty, competitions and so many great extra's that'll keep you reading for days! I read it in year 7 and 8 but now feel i am too old for it as it doesn't give me the information i need as a teen girl.

I’d seen my Mum reading her magazines and felt incredibly grown up the first time she came home with a Girl Talk for me. Mizz Magazine launched in 1985, and when it was in its prime, it focused around fashion, celebrity gossip, real life stories and teen lifestyle topics, using 12-16 year old girls as models for many of its shoots. I used to read Mizz and Shout when I was about 10, then when I got to 12 or so I upgraded to Sugar, J17, Bliss and CosmoGirl. Mizz Magazine was a monthly magazine published in the United Kingdom and was aimed at teenage girls. Some of my friends weren’t allowed to read the ones I did so they would come to my house to read the problem pages.
